When was the Rangerette Residence built?

The Gussie Nell Davis Rangerette Residence began construction in August of 2005. It was completed in August of 2006 and the first occupants were the 66th and 67th Lines of the Kilgore College Rangerettes. The Gussie Nell Davis Rangerette Residence was designed and built by former Rangerette Kathryn Heller Zwick and Nick Zwick. 

How Many Rooms are in the residence?

There are 40 rooms plus 2 laundry rooms, a kitchen, a media room, a study room, and a living room.

If you are a Rangerette are you required to live in the residence?

Yes. All Rangerettes must live in the Rangerette Residence, even if you are from the local East Texas area.

Is the furniture provided for the resident's room?

In each room there are two twin beds that also may be stacked as bunk beds, two desks with built in lights, two desk chairs, and a dresser.

What are the visitation rules of the residence?

No male visitation except for special events like move-in day, Show Offs, game days, Revels, and move-out day. Times that male vistors may enter the building will be given by the Management of the residence. Female visitation is permitted at all times, the Rangerette must not leave the guest alone in the residence. To stay overnight the Rangerette must sign the guest in at the front desk.
