Kilgore, Texas – The new Rangerette officers were named and the Rangerettes’ 80th line performed for the first time last night at Rangerette Showoffs. Fifteen sophomores tried out for an officer position, and the five selected to lead the team for 2019-2020 are:
Captain – Karsen Conser; Tyler
Right End Lieutenant – Kendal DeVillier; Nederland
Right Middle Lieutenant – Kelee Norris; Longview
Left Middle Lieutenant – Emma Strange; Flower Mound
Left End Lieutenant – Kayla Parker; Pearland
KILGORE, TEXAS – Today, surrounded by hopes, dreams and 80 years of tradition, 34 young women became the newest members of the world-famous Kilgore College Rangerettes dance and drill team.
The announcement, made in a closed ceremony in Dodson Auditorium on the Kilgore campus, culminated a week-long process of 91 hopefuls vying for a coveted position on the 80th Rangerette line. The new Rangerettes will join 36 sophomores to make a line of 70.
Dozens of young women are currently in Kilgore training, practicing and hoping for a spot on the 80th line of the world-famous Kilgore College Rangerettes.
'Rette tryouts are taking place Thursday and hopefuls have been practicing in pre-training rehearsals throughout the week.
KILGORE, TEXAS – The Kilgore College Rangerettes held their annual Swingster tryouts today, and selected ten dancers to make up the group. The new 79th Line freshmen Swingsters are:
