Swingsters are an elite specialty performing group within the Rangerette organization and are comprised of both sophomores and freshmen. Freshmen swingster tryouts are in January and are OPEN to the public. Seating is limited and on a first come, first served basis. Tryouts include freshmen solos and group performances of the traditional tryout routine to "Peter Gunn" as well as several other studio style dance combinations. The tryout lasts approximately 3 hours and concludes with the selection of our new Freshmen Swingsters.
