Rachel Haden Abshier Rangerette Captain’s Scholarship
Established in 1995 in honor of Priscilla Abshier Sliva and Julie Sliva Aaronson in memory of their mother and grandmother, Rachel Haden Abshier. Priscilla and Julie were captains of the Rangerettes in 1957 and 1980, respectfully, the only mother and daughter to become captains.

American Dance and Drill Team Scholarship
Established by Joyce Pennington with proceeds raised at the Gussie Nell Davis Classic.

American Staff Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2004 by Joyce Pennington with proceeds raised at the Gussie Nell Davis Classic and Rangerette Revelations.

Carroll and Wilda Rodriguez Andrews Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2003 by Mr. and Mrs. Andrews. Mrs. Andrews was a member of the class of 1945; and has served as a board member of the Rangerettes Forever.

Dana Blair Rangerette Director Scholarship
Established in 1993 by Margaret Miller and her son, Michael Miller in honor of the third director of the Kilgore College Rangerettes.

Jim Campbell Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established in 1991 by the Rangerettes Forever, this scholarship honors the retired Dean of Students at KC.

Dr. Peggy Coghlan Rangerette Academic Scholarship
Established in 1990 by her husband, Howard Coghlan, this scholarship recognizes the first assistant director of the organization. Dr. Coghlan's scholarship goes to the entering freshman Rangerette with the highest grade point average.

Deana Bolton Covin Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1987 in honor of Mrs. Deana Bolton Covin, second director of the Rangerettes, by Mike Miller, former vice president of Super Star Drill Team Camps.

Dwain Crawford and Dr. Kay Crawford Nolte Eubanks Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1996 by Dr. Kay Nolte Eubanks in memory of her brother, Dwain Crawford. Dwain was a Kilgore College employee at the time of his death in 1993. Dr. Eubanks was a member of the Rangerettes Forever Board of Directors.

Jamie Love Crim Memorial Rangerette Scholarship
This scholarship fund was established by Trey and Lynness Crim, children of John T., Jr. and Jamie Love Crim, in memory of their mother, a former captain of the Rangerettes.

L.N. Crim Rangerettes Forever Scholarship

Established by the Rangerettes Forever in 1987 in honor of Mr. L.N. Crim, long-time supporter of the Rangerettes.

Gussie Nell Davis Scholarship
This is the first Rangerette scholarship, and was established by Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Long in 1973. In 1983 it was named in honor of Miss Gussie Nell Davis, founding director of the Kilgore College Rangerettes. This scholarship is awarded to the freshman sergeant in addition to her other Rangerette scholarship because of the additional responsibilities.

Jean Susan Davis Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1995 by Dr. and Mrs. Keith Davis of Tempe, Arizona in honor of their daughter, who was a member of the Rangerettes in 1968-70. Dr. Davis was a retired professor of business administration at Arizona State University.

Laura Barnett Davis Assistant Director/Choreographer Rangerette Scholarship

Established in 1999 by Michael Miller. She served as an assistant director and choreographer for Deana Bolton Covin.

Tom and Frances (Brazelton) Dempsey Rangerette Officers Scholarship
Established 1999 by Tom and Frances Dempsey, a former Rangerette lieutenant. This scholarship is for the four Rangerette Lieutenants.

Lyde and Charles K. Devall Rangerette Scholarship
Through the years, the Devalls publicized and supported Kilgore College in all of its endeavors. This scholarship for Kilgore College Rangerettes is a result of an endowment established by the Devalls in 1985. It is the largest endowment of all Rangerette scholarships.

Dr. Irving J. Dreibrodt Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2002 from proceeds of the Gussie Nell Davis Dance Classic. This event is a joint effort of C.R. and Joyce Pennington and the Rangerettes Forever.

Sidney Broadfoot Faust Rangerette Scholarship
Established by Sidney Broadfoot Faust, a member of the Rangerettes in 1954. She established the scholarship because of what the organization meant to her.

First Line Rangerette Scholarship
Established at Revels 2002 in honor of the first line of Rangerettes '40-'41.

Lisa Fortenberry Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1996 by Michael Miller in honor of Lisa Fortenberry, a former Rangerette and a member of his staff at Miller and Associates. Lisa is a member of the Rangerettes Forever Board of Directors.

Ione Fouts and Helen Wahlgreen Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established at Homecoming 2001 in honor of two long-time Rangerettes Forever.

Denard Haden Memorial Scholarship
Established by the Rangerettes Forever, friends, and family, the scholarship honors the popular Rangerette choreographer of 1948-1980.

Jeanne Hale Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established by the Rangerettes Forever in 1987, this scholarship honors Jeanne Hale, former Director of College Relations at Kilgore College and founder of the Rangerettes Forever.

Judy Lyle Hale Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1994 by Gean and Judy Lyle Hale. She was captain of the first Rangerette line in 1940.

Charles Hart Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2004 by Charles Hart. Mr. Hart has been a long-time admirer of the organization and has even traveled with the group when they visited Singapore. He is also a former Kilgore College Cheerleader.

Dr. William M. Holda Rangerette Scholarship
Established by Mike Miller in honor of the 8th president of Kilgore College.

Honored Superstars Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1990 by Unique Travel of Texarkana and the Super Star Drill Team Camps upon the 50th anniversary of the Rangerettes and in honor of many former Rangerettes who were long-time employees of Super Star Drill Team Camps.

Mazie Mathews Jamison Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2004 by Mike Miller and Associates. Mazie has served the Rangerettes Forever organization in many ways.

Kilgore College Rangerette Scholarship
This endowment was established by Kilgore College during the presidency of Dr. Stewart McLaurin. Only income from the endowment can be used for scholarships and scholarships are limited to current Rangerettes and managers.

Kilgore Rotary Club Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1999 with proceeds raised from the 1998 summer camps. For years the Rotary club has hosted a Christmas luncheon that began under the leadership of L.N. Crim.

Virginia Bolt Long Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1995 by the Long Family in honor of Virginia Bolt Long, a former Rangerette, a life member of Rangerettes Forever and the Ex-Students Association and a former member of the Kilgore College Board of Trustees.

Melvin Marshall Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established in 1994 by the Rangerettes Forever in honor of Melvin Marshall, a long-time Kilgore College employee and a supporter of the Rangerettes Forever.

Dr. B.E. Masters Memorial Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established in 1996 by Rangerettes Forever in memory of Dr. B.E. Masters, president of Kilgore College at the time the Rangerettes were created. He recruited Gussie Nell Davis to Kilgore College.

Jean McFaddin Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1996 by Mike Miller in honor of Jean McFaddin upon the event of her 20th anniversary as Parade Director and the 70th anniversary of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Stewart H. McLaurin Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established in 1989 by the Rangerettes in loving memory of Dr. Stewart H. McLaurin, the fifth president of Kilgore College. Dr. McLaurin was a major supporter and honorary life member of the Rangerettes Forever.

Michael Miller Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established in 1990 by the Rangerettes Forever in honor of Michael Miller, who supported Kilgore College and the Rangerettes in many ways.

Jo Ann and Bobby Peek Memorial Rangerette Scholarship
Endowed in 1997 through a gift from Bobby Peek, other members of the Peek family, friends and Forevers in memory of the eighth president of Rangerettes Forever. The name of the scholarship was changed in 2000 to also honor the memory of Bobby Peek.

Joan Fuller Painter Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1988 by Joan and Paul Painter of Longview. Joan Fuller Painter was a Rangerette officer in 1951 and is a life member of the Rangerettes Forever. She owned the Joan Fuller Dance Studio in Longview for many years.

Coach Jimmy Parks Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1998 by Grace Utzman Raney, Lt. Janet Parks Underwood, Carolyn Thomas Raney, Amy Raney Rogers and Katherine Claire Raney in memory of the late Coach Jimmy Parks.

Rangerette Camp Scholarship
Funded by net proceeds from annual summer camps sponsored by Rangerettes Forever.

Paula C. Jamerson Honorary Rangerette Forever Scholarship
Funded by Rangerettes Forever at Homecoming 2008. Paula is the Coordinator of Alumni Relations.

Rangerette Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1993 by the Rangerettes Forever, this scholarship is a memorial to the former Rangerettes who are deceased. Their names are listed on a Rangerette Memorial Plaque in the Rangerette Showcase.

Rangerette Salute Scholarship
Established in 1997 by the Rangerettes Forever. With a donation of $200 to the Rangerette Salute Scholarship, any former Rangerette can have her name placed on the Rangerette Salute Plaque located in the Rangerette Showcase. Income from the endowment is used to award current Rangerettes.

Rangerette Story Scholarship
Established in 1997 by Kilgore College from book sales of “The Rangerette Story.”

Sherry Ransom Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established at Homecoming in 2000 from funds raised in the Summer Mini Camps by the Rangerettes Forever to honor Sherry Ransom, administrative assistant for the KC Institutional Advancement Office, for her years of hard work and dedicated service.

Nan Logan Respess Memorial Rangerette Scholarship
Established at Revels in 2000 from funds raised in the Challenge Scholarship.

Revels Roundup Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1998 with funds raised at the silent auction and raffles.

James F. and Jeanne L. Reynolds Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1994 in memory of his parents by Michael E. Reynolds.

Dottie Brown Roquemore Memorial Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1998, this endowed scholarship honors Dottie Roquemore who served the Forevers as a director, an officer and as a committee member from the inception of the organization until her death.

The 60th Anniversary Rangerette LINE Scholarship
Announced at Revels 2000, and established by Lisa Fortenbery, Chip Hale and Mike Miller, all of Mike Miller and Associates Special Events.

AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic Scholarship
Established on December 31, 2011 at the Kilgore College Gala as a tribute to the Rangerettes for having appeared in 50 consecutive Cotton Bowl performances.

Betty Bird Spradlin Rangerette Scholarship
Established in December 1999 by R.E. "Sonny" Spradlin in honor of his wife.

Hazel Stewart Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established in 1988 by the Rangerettes Forever, this endowed scholarship honors Hazel Stewart, a long-time pianist for the Rangerettes.

Joan Still-Smith Rangerette Scholarship
Established at Revels 2004 by Mike Miller. Joan has been an important part of the Rangerettes Forever organization and has served in numerous positions on their board and as an officer.

Murlene "Pinky" Gattis Swingler Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2001 by Suzie Anthony and family to honor her mother's love and dedication to the Rangerette organization.

Dr. J. Frank Thornton Academic Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1996 by Michael Miller in honor of the 7th president of Kilgore College.

Major Walker Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established at Homecoming 2000 to honor the first band director of Kilgore College.

Dr. Randolph C. Watson Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
Established in 1996 by Rangerettes Forever in honor of Dr. Watson, who was president of Kilgore College at the time of the first international trip for the Rangerettes. He made four international trips with the group during his tenure as president.

Shelley Stoeck Wayne Assistant Director/Choreographer Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1999 by Michael Miller, this honors Shelley Wayne, a former Rangerette lieutenant who became assistant director and choreographer for the Rangerettes in 1993.

Dr. Peggy J. Whaley and Cile Whaley Scott Rangerette Scholarship
This annual scholarship was endowed in 1989 by two sisters who used their Kilgore College experience to shape their futures. The scholarship is for a Rangerette who is interested in one of the medical sciences.

J. Archie Whitfield Rangerettes Forever Scholarship
This scholarship was endowed in 1992 by the Rangerettes Forever in honor of J. Archie Whitfield, director of college relations at Kilgore College from 1985 to 2000.

Marjorie McDonald Wier Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1997 by Annabelle Whitaker.

Cathy Scott Wheat Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2003 by Joyce and C.R. Pennington, owners of American Dance and Drill Team. Cathy Wheat has worked for ADDT for many years.

Bert E. Woodruff Academic Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1993 by Margaret Miller and, her son, Michael Miller in honor of the sixth president of Kilgore College.

Nicholas and Kathryn Heller Zwick Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 1996 by The Zwick Foundation, Inc., Kathryn Heller Zwick was a Rangerette in 1976-78. She and her husband are generous contributors to the Rangerettes.

Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Dooley Bradshaw Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2011 by her daughter, Patricia Ann Bradshaw Cole. Mrs. Bradshaw was a proud member of the first line of the Kilgore College Rangerettes.

Joyce and C.R. Pennington Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2005 by Joyce and C.R. Pennington of American Dance and Drill Team.

Missy Roach Sumpter Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2005 by Michael Miller, Lisa Fortenberry and Kelly Lawrence to recognize the significant impact that Missy has on the Rangerette organization but especially her role in Revels each year.

Linda Lewis-Hall Happy Feet Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2006 by Joyce and C.R. Pennington. Linda is a former Rangerette and the owner/founder of Happy Feet Footwear, the boots worn by the Kilgore College Rangerettes.

Priscilla Abshier Sliva Rangerette Captain’s Scholarship
Established in 2006 in honor of Priscilla Abshier Sliva by her husband Robert Sliva.

Toppy and Tony Goolsby Family Trust Rangerette Scholarship
Established in 2007 to help meet financial needs for Rangerettes.

The Foldette/Wiggins Family Rangerette Scholarship
Endowed in 2012 by Ross and Michelle Foldetta and family. Michelle Foldetta was a Rangerette as was her daughter Heather Wiggins. Ross Foldetta’s daughter Christy was also a Rangerette.

The Janet Herrington Merritt Rangerette Scholarship
Endowed in 2011 by her Husband Tommy and her children.

Kick For The Starz
Established in 2010 by Mike and Laura Starzyk. Laura Shipp Starzyk was a Rangerette on the 47th line.
